If you don't have a church home may I encourage you to investigate if Light and Life is the right fit for your spiritual needs. I find it fascinating that "The National Institute for Healthcare Research" found, as reported in the June 14th, 2000 edition of the Wall Street Journal, that a person is "29% more likely to live longer if they attend church regularly." Additional studies have shown that being active of a church lowers blood pressure and strengthens the immune system. Additionally, children and teens consistently involved in church with their families are less likely to drop out of school, spend time in jail, use drugs, be depressed or suicidal, or become pregnant. God knew what He was doing when He created a faith community we call "church."

Our heavenly Father designed church to activate the law of synergism - that two or more of us together, with God's Spirit, can be and do much more than any one of us alone. When God's people come together in healthy fellowship, spiritual worship, and to serve in effective teams it's amazing what God does in, among and through them. Toward that end we have made it easy for a person searching for a church home to get involved here at Light and Life.

First, check out our Grace Groups, Home Teams, and other small groups as a means of making friends and enjoying fellowship. Email Pastor Michael Spottsville to be on your way to building friendships in Light and Life. Second, contact our office and request a copy of "A Welcome Message," a DVD that gives a conceptual framework of who we are, what we believe, and where we're going. Third, come check out one of our worship services, we have a variety of styles to fit different needs.

Light and Life's mission statement is "to know Christ, grow in Christ, and go with Christ to all nations". Toward that end we have a myriad of different, exciting ministries that you can look into on this site.
