Sunday Morning Small Groups - Join one today!
We believe that the grace of God is the foundation for our salvation and our growing relationships with other believers in the Body of Christ. Our various small groups are the settings in which people grow in their relationships with God and each other through learning, loving, sharing, and serving.
Whether it is a Sunday morning group, a home group, a club, or men’s or women’s group, we encourage everyone in our church family to become a part of a group that fits their particular situation.
This philosophy is true for all of our ministry groups as well. We passionately believe that our God is in the business of reclaiming and redeeming people and that no one is too far away to be gathered into His loving arms. These groups are designated to show that the unconditional love of God with the support of a caring community.
Aldersgate - Senior Ladies age 59+
Sundays 9:00 a.m. in Room 212
The Aldersgate Class consists of senior ladies 60-85 plus one delightful youngster of 24. We have grown to 12. Our ministries are mailing out cards - two to three a week, visiting shut-ins, and supporting various missionaries.
As many of our ladies are in their late 70's, we do not participate in many church activities. We do, however, support the 8:15 a.m. traditional worship service with our tithes and attendance.
Our testimonies can attest that the group has become powerful prayer warriors. Truly Christ is in the midst of this group. One can feel the love, compassion and support when you enter.
Ambassadors - Senior Men and Women

Christians in Action - Adults
Sundays 10:30 a.m. at the LifeHouse
Christians In Action is an adult Sunday School Class for individuals of various ages. Our studies include: word studies, Book of the Bible studies, and video series. Oftentimes we use study guides to have a more in depth study. Different class members share the teaching responsibilities.
Currently, we are sponsoring a child, Pinki, through Childcare Ministries, International. We take an offering during class and pay the $18 monthly sponsorship fee. Leftover funds go to special projects, such as, providing a new, hot water heater for a homeless shelter. Members of our class handled the purchase and installation. We also sponsor a motorcycle club and take part in various rides, hopefully with the opportunity to minister to others during the rides. We hope to organize our own ride right from the church parking lot.
If our class sounds interesting, please join us or call for more information.
Grace Finders - Senior Men and Women
Sundays 10:30 a.m. in Room 212
A group devoted to: (1) Learning more about the Word of God through the study of diverse Biblical topics as decided upon by the class members; (2) Sharing praises and burdens with one another in a safe environment and lifting them up to the Lord through prayer.
We are currently in a very interesting study of "Exile and Hope" using the Comprehensive Bible Study guide by David C. Cook with the Bible as the ultimate source as well as any outside sources and experiences members may find beneficial. The topic discussion is always lively and thought provoking.
We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30 in room 212, which because of class popularity, is now getting a bit crowded but we are looking into alternatives.
The class director is Anita McWaters with the class members serving as an experienced and congenial supporting cast.
Currently, class members range in age from young adult to - well lets just say 60+; single and married. What a great mix. Coffee and tea is always available to go with doughnuts, cake, or other goodies.

Home Teams
WHAT
What are Home Teams? They are small groups from Light and Life Community Church that meet during the week in the evenings for fellowship. Your Home Team will enable you to grow deeper in your walk with Christ and enjoy meaningful relationships.
WHO
Who are these groups for? They are designed to give everyone at Light and Life Community Church, as well as un-churched friends, relatives, neighbors, and business associates, an opportunity to benefit from a small group community. These groups will provide support and love for all.
WHY
Why do we need a small group? Especially in today’s world where communities are almost non-existent, we need a place to belong. We need a group that we can call our own. We will eat, share, care, and pray together in the spirit of Christ. The Great Commandment instructs us to love God and love one another. Home Teams help us live out that great life together.
WHEN
When do these Teams meet? During the school year, we will have two 12-week cycles. It is up to the individual Home Teams as to the day of the week and time.
WHERE
Where do these Teams meet? Again, it is up each Home Team to designate a place. You remain with the same group for the entire cycle.
HOW
How do I join a group? How can I volunteer to host or facilitate a Home Team? Contact Michael Spottsville at 303-233-3430 or email him mspottsville@lightandlife.net. He will be able to connect you to a Home Team or to volunteer in Home Team ministry.
